Several months ago, I had my credit card stolen multiple times. The circumstances led me to believe this occurred through my computer; nothing out of the ordinary happened which would lead me to believe I had a virus or malware, though. However, beginning yesterday 1/5/2014, Chrome stopped working. Websites are inaccessible, even local files such as settings do not work. Any attempt to access anything within Chrome leads to an "unresponsive page" message with the option to "kill" or "wait".
Once Chrome stopped working, I started using it in a non-sandbox mode in order to continue using it per the recommendation of other Chrome users with a similar issue. After this, a cmd prompt window began flashing on the screen at random. Firefox and IE worked and still work fine. Further, after installing Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit, it has blocked cmd.exe from executing through Chrome (confirmed with the program's logs). Also, I appear to be having unnecessary multiple instances of each process when a program is running (chrome.exe, conhost.exe, PlexScriptHost.exe, and SpotifyHelper.exe have multiples currently). These issues led me to believe something is not quite right.
