A flaw in some 64-bit operating systems and virtualization software programs are vulnerable to local privilege escalation attacks.

As MalwareTips do have members that test malware there is no need to panic, as wmware does not use SYSRET instruction. In SlashDot Forums did suggest a possible a way Wmware as well as VirtualBox.
