Yet another cyber attack in Australia...

Thousands of Victorian families may have had their personal data exposed in yet another cyberattack.
Hackers targeted PNORS Technology Group which is used by several state government departments, including the Department of Education and Training, according to The Sunday Age.
Sources told the Age data from the Victorian school entrance health questionnaire was included in the information stolen.

The health questionnaire included personal information including demographics, developmental and behavioural issues, and family alcohol or drug problems.
It was completed by families who start at all Victorian primary schools.
PNORS chief executive Paul Gallo said the extent of the data breach is still being investigated.

"However, overnight the criminals behind the cyberattack released to the company in a private communication a sample of what is believed to be stolen data," Gallo said.
"When we were informed about the cyberattack we immediately shut down and isolated all our internal systems and took further measures to secure our network and data, along with pausing all data processing."
