Good video as it covers much about Bing. Bing was previously MSN Search and Live Search but replaced those 2009 when Bing also made a deal with Yahoo and that's probably why they look so similar on the main search page and another reson why Bing is still in the game as Yahoo had and still have a huge share of the search market. Bing could have been Bang if a guy named David Webster had his way as that was the name he purposed. Bing was during it's development known as Kumo ( くも ) wich comes from the Japanse word for spider. @show-Zi can confirm the language and spelling.

I'm not a huge Bing user/fan and probably never will be but it has some services that IMO works just as smooth and good as Googles like the translation service. Used that just one day ago when Google for some odd reson wouldn't work on a specific page but Bing did. Bings adult/safe search filter is also on by default like DuckDuckGo but Google ain't. Don't know why but one would imagine the biggest of them all wants to better protect it's user and especially children from all the crap that flows around. Ofcourse Google have more filters but a safe search filter that actually is On normaly covers alot.

Thanks for share @Spawn

For most people, "pc" is Windows. "Search" is Google.
In Japan, we call the fact that those who developed the market are in an advantageous position are called "profits of pioneers". The superiority or inferiority of what is offered is not so concerned, the pioneer secures the market share.

Actually think Yahoo is a brilliant name and I wouldn't be surprised if Gooooooogle snatched parts from playing with it.

Bing, Bing...Naa not the best word even IMO but it's what they picked so dosen't matter what anyone else may or may not think about it. Microsoft for sure dosen't care. :giggle:
