my Samsung LCD was showing lots of lines for more than 6 months, but 1 week ago, it got dead. Samsung guy told me "Panel got dead, its better to purchase a new one than to repair, because new panel will costs near around same as new LED monitor" :( lasted for only 3 and half year :(
today, i purchased a new AOC LED 20 inch.

ASUS VX238H 23in Widescreen LED Monitor

This was a bang for buck deal with the features it offers. (See spoiler)
I got sick of stock manufacture monitors and ones that are too cheap with the little features/quality they offer and wanted something better for image editing and gaming aswell as atleast 2x HDMI ports, 1 for my laptop/ or PC and 1 for my future PS4.

So far this monitor has been excellent, loving the 1ms refresh and color display modes.

Planning on picking up another one in the future for dual display.

Sticking with ASUS monitors. Excellent value for cost and features.

My current one for gaming, bought it in 2009.

That is the exact same monitor that I'm using.

I have had very good experiences with HP products, I use HP monitor, keyboard, headphones and mouse.

I the last few years I have bought 4 Acer monitors that were defective and had to be replaced, of coarse Acer is good with warranties and will give you credit for defective products.

Thanks. :D
