Why are so many people having trouble with Chrome?

Hi! I'm very curious about things and so I ask questions. I follow the malware fighters here to see if I can learn new things that will help me help the seniors in my retirement Village. I have recently seen a lot of problems with Chrome in our malware fighter section. I have also witnessed problems with Chrome getting infected here in my village. I uninstall Chrome here in my village and tell my seniors that I think Firefox is better and safer. Am I wrong for telling them that??
Also if Chrome has a problem that doesn't seem to be happening on Firefox, why isn't someone warning MT members. Some times my curiosity gets me in trouble, but I am who I am!!
Thanks!

I know you need to be trained to clean malware here on MT, but you don't need training to visit the malware section.
Visit and you will see many OP's with Chrome related problems. Yet you don't to see any OP's with Firefox or IE browsers getting infected.
This is what I see. Only problems with Chrome.

Hi! If it's the number one browser these days, then that explains a lot. That is probably the reason it is getting attacked by the malware A holes. The internet is becoming a cesspool and I'm not licking it one little bit. I may just thrown my PC in the trash. The way I see the future, is things will only get worse unless there are more;) good guys than bad guys!

I used to be FF user, then I took a chrome on the knee :p (okay that was a joke :D)
Well, FF was my favorite browser, but they recently made unnecessary change which make me quite annoying, and make me try another browsers, and finally..I decided switch to chrome, never met any problems so far, and I'm quite liking it. Low CPU usage, secure and fast, it has built in pdf viewer, auto updated flash, has auto sandbox and google safe browsing, so this make me wonder though...how it can be possible that your senior can be infected? my guess is..whether he/she using unknown apps? well you know that chrome has so many apps and 3rd party plugins, afaik...even they only using apps that came from chrome store it self, it cannot guarantee the application is 100% safe. I agree with @frogboy probably due to it's popularity, many bad guys want to break it :(

In my opinion, chrome it self is a good, secure and fast browser, well apart from privacy problem of course , 3rd party plugins/apps which questionable

Also, I believe @Littlebits or @Huracan can provide better answer, they are super chrome user, to be honest they inspiring me for using chrome.

Chrome is no. 1 browser as per W3Schools.

http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp

It has around 60% of the market share.
I personally use Firefox and Chrome both.

What I like about Chrome is it's start up time. It can open very fast. Another thing I like is the Tabs. If you open 50 tabs, it will be in still same page

But in case of Frefox you need to navigate right or left.

For me both are good. Sometimes I had problem with Chrome and sometimes with Firefox.

Hi I have no idea why seniors are getting infected using Chrome. Maybe they are clicking on porn sites. Seniors are like that. They love those porn sites.
Just kidding and being my usual annoying self.
I don't know what they click on. Seniors are trusting people and they just don't realize there are A holes out there that want to do them harm and shut them down from Facebook and their Emails and there friends. I don't why there are A holes that want to do that either.
That seems to be the way life is these days.:mad:

Hi! I think Chrome is being attacked by A holes. If you just visit our malware section you will see that our malware fighters are having a lot of OP's with infected Chrome browsers. That's another reason why I started this thread. I have been around the block a couple of times and I see some thing going on with infected Chrome browsers.
I'm not saying that Chrome is not a good browser. I'm just saying I think there is some hanky panky going on and it really surprises that MT is not on top of it!
That's all I'm saying. When your number one the A holes will come after you!

Any idea why it takes FF so long to open as i have wondered about it for a while now?

LOL :D
I see, I understand and quite agree, well since we both are MT's members I think we both know now that if they are happy clickers, they will get infected with whatever browsers they use, soon or later..no matter what, but at least with chrome, if we open a harm websites, chrome will tell user if the site is dangerous and may ask user to leave, also if somehow a user downloading a potentially harm files, chrome also tell user that the file is dangerous and may ask user whether to discard it or ignore it, but of course if a user ignore it..well you know what happen next :p

Still..this A holes attack you mentioned above really concerned me since I am a chrome user and make me quite paranoid now o_O I think I need to go to malware section, thanks for informing this :)
