RE: My main laptop specifications

Looks like it should be good for that :) the i3 is a nice processor and 4GB of ram should be good unless you find the programs you use, use a lot of ram, also i think it has a 5400rpm hard drive so you could always upgrade it to 7200rpm and more space too

RE: My main laptop specifications

The specifications were good as a start especially if not doing really heavy performance.

It's up to everyone to do as they please but be aware that problems may come as a consequence. I am not sure what the worst case scenario can be

RE: My main laptop specifications

you're right Valentine.
I had 4 months ,or more, use the V-gen combination with the original RAM from the first time I bought a notebook. no problem.
but I think, not all notebooks can be like that.

Hey there,

I just saw your post here

and i noticed that you bought in saudi arabia, the same place i'm at now, i was wondering about your experience so far with the "Toshiba C640-10E"

as i'm going to either buy it or one of those the three:
http://en-sa.mizado.com/toshiba-satellite-c850-core-i5-250-ghz-156-midrange-laptops-price-and-specs-31684.html

http://shophina.com/zoom.php?id=136&subcat_id=6

and the third being toshiba C640-10E

I also wanted to ask did you try linux with the laptop? if so what distro, and did you face any problems with the hardware drivers?

regards
