It's Patch Tuesday, which means that it's time for Microsoft to roll out new cumulative updates for all versions of Windows 10. It's also a special day because the Windows 10 Creators Update began rolling out to select PCs, which means that for the first time, there are updates for four different versions of the OS.
We'll start with the newest version first, which is the Creators Update. Upon upgrading to the new feature update (or if you already have), you'll find build 15063.138 waiting for you. Also, while the Creators Update isn't rolling out to phones until the 25th, today's cumulative update is available in the Slow and Fast rings for those that are in the Windows Insider Program.
The wording of the update has finally been changed for phones. Instead of calling it a "Technical Preview for phones", it now says "April 2017 Update for Windows 10 Version 10.0.15063.138 for arm-based Phone Devices". Capitalization issues aside, the change is long overdue, since the Technical Preview became the Insider Preview long ago.
