Microsoft has released Windows Terminal v0.9, which adds command-line arguments, automatic creation of PowerShell profiles, and a new setting that you lets you close all tabs without confirmation.

Windows Terminal is a multi-tabbed console program that allows you to launch different shells/consoles into different tabs. For example, one tab can be PowerShell, the other your standard Windows 10 Command Prompt, and the third a WSL bash shell as shown below.

I really like Windows Terminal but I didn´t find out yet how settings can be made persistent like open shells and things like that.

Today, Microsoft is releasing Windows Terminal Preview version 1.1, and it contains a whole bunch of new features.

First up, you can now choose to open files with Windows Terminal from the File Explorer. To be clear, it's still going to launch Windows Terminal Preview until Windows Terminal 1.1 is out for everyone. You can also now set Windows Terminal to launch at startup by setting startOnUserLogin to true in global settings. There's also a new fontweight profile setting.
