I've given as much info as possible (I thinks). I've also uploaded from FRST, ADW and Zemana - hope they're of use to you.

My original problem occurred when downloading a file for utorrent from skidrowz games.

Many thanks.

Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finishes FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Tried it on desktop - no go
Tried c:FRST/and FRST said "no fixlist.txt found; should be in same folder/directory tool located".

I'm dimmer than I thought. How do I upload the date_time.zip and provide a download link?

Really dimmer thasn I thought I was.
I'm lost after the "Please upload Date_Time.zip archive (date and time will be current date and time) from your Desktop here and provide me with download link:" bit.
could you explain to me how and what to do please - I'm pretty slow on these matters.
By the way, Rambler.Ru keeps swapping/changing tabs whenever open link/webpage.

Go to the link I gave you, click browse and find something like this on your Desktop.

05.03.2017_17.13.25.zip

Click upload and then provide me with download link.

Disabled extensions and restarted Chrome today - typed search for "malware" on Chrome. Went straight to Ramblr with search results.

Only extensions I had running were Google Docs, Google Docs Offline, and Adblock Plus (which has been disabled for over 3 weeks now).
