The pop-up uses MrBeast’s name and image to lure you into thinking that this is a legitimate giveaway from him. However, this is not the case. MrBeast has nothing to do with this scam and neither do the sponsors listed at the bottom of the pop-up.
How Does the MR. BEAST TOKEN DROP Scam Work?
If you click on the “CLAIM REWARD” button, you will be redirected to a page that asks you to download a software or an app to receive your tokens. The software or app may contain malware that can infect your device and steal your personal information, such as your passwords, bank details, or crypto wallet keys. The malware may also lock your device or encrypt your files and demand a ransom to restore them.
