The observed message uses a subject similar to “A Document Has Been Shared With You,” includes a date, and warns the recipient not to forward the access link. Those details make the invitation feel private and automatically generated.
The button does not lead to a genuine DocSend document. It redirects toward a counterfeit login page intended to capture email credentials. Some phishing kits can adapt the page to look like the recipient’s usual provider.
