YontooDesktop.exe is an adware program, which is promoted via other free downloads, and once installed it will display advertisements that appear to be from the website that you are visiting, even though they are usually delivered from entirely different ad networks.
YontooDesktop.exe got on your computer after you have installed another free software or add-on that had bundled into their installer this malicious program.
For example, when you install FLV Player, you will also agree to install YontooDesktop.exe, however when you will uninstall this program, YontooDesktop.exe will not be removed from your computer. This means that you’ll manually have to remove YontooDesktop.exe from your browser and computer.
The Yontoo Desktop program does require for .NET Framework program to be installed to work correctly, however on some machines this program might not be installed, so Yontoo will not be able to run and it will display “YontooDesktop.exe – Application Error” when you start your computer.
YontooDesktop.exe – Application Error is a Windows error message you will get if you try to install Yontoo adware that requires the .NET Framework to run, but your computer doesn’t have it. Windows will give you the following explanation and error code: “The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)”.

If you install .NET Framework, then YontooDesktop.exe – Application Error Windows error message would just stop, because Yontoo could run on your computer startup, however we recommend that you uninstall YontooDesktop.exe from your computer.
You should always pay attention when installing software because often, a software installer includes optional installs, such as this YontooDesktop.exe. Be very careful what you agree to install.
Always opt for the custom installation and deselect anything that is not familiar, especially optional software that you never wanted to download and install in the first place. It goes without saying that you should not install software that you don’t trust.
