Viceice.com is a browser hijacker, which is promoted via other free downloads, and once installed it will change your browser homepage and default search engine to http://viceice.com/.
Viceice.com homepage got on your computer after you have installed a freeware software (video recording/streaming, download-managers or PDF creators) that had bundled into their installation this browser hijacker.
For example, when you install VPlay, you will also agree to change your browser homepage and default search engine to http://Viceice.com/.
However when you uninstall VPlay from your computer, your web browser’s default settings will not be restored. This means that you’ll have to remove Viceice.com homepage from your favorite web browser manually.
You should always pay attention when installing software because often, a software installer includes optional installs, such as this Viceice.com browser hijacker. Be very careful what you agree to install.
Always opt for the custom installation and deselect anything that is not familiar, especially optional software that you never wanted to download and install in the first place. It goes without saying that you should not install software that you don’t trust.

Hi there. Use the free version of MALWAREBYTES and it’s gonna work.
MALWAREBYTES!!!!!!!!
Tsup guys! I’d like to share my experience fighting against viceice browser hijacker. First of all, I have no damn clue where and how I got this shit as I’m a well experimented computer user. I’m extremely careful on what I’m doing. I think it’s from one of the versions of Adblock pro (3.7).
I’m using Windows 7 64 bit as an OS. Trust me that I tried many many things before finding the “ultimate solution” . In one word: MALWAREBYTES Anti-Malware!!! The free version. Make sure it’s updated. After the scan and the purge, he asked me to restart my PC, which I did and the problem was solved. Important note: FORGET ABOUT SPYHUNTER FOR THIS! I scanned my PC about 5 times with SH and the Hijacker was always coming back.
Hi!
First of all, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for this comprehensive manual how to remove that ”awesome” program from my PC, really annoying and dangerous as you say so!
I used it for second time, I think I am gonna even contribute!
Sending regards to my friend Stelian to Bucurest!
btw: Stelian reminds me Stallion. it makes total sense :)
Facing the same problem, Used AdwCleaner but viceice reappeared on system restart. Used step 6 but it seems to have worked only for firefox. Chrome and Explorer still starting with viceice. Have reset as well as reinstalled chrome but nothing has changed. Any solutions?
Thanks a ton, brother.

I hope you read this post cause I wanna ask you something :3 what antivirus do you recomend? there are many in the market and I don’t know wich one is better than other~
THANK YOU AGAIN :) *happy face*
Just finished the process (which very well done, by the way, your instructions were super clear and easy to follow) and noticed that his article is very new.
Is this a newer virus? I’ve personally never encountered it before and as someone who downloads his fair share of shady torrents and such, was surprised to see something like this.
Thank you so much dude.
This website helped me for the second time now. :D
Thanks men.
Sorry for my bad grammar
