But doesn't Hyper-V require you to install Windows and then install the app ( in this case, MS Word) just like VMware ? Sandboxie on the other hand might just be able to run MS Word sandboxed ?
yes, office programs (and adobe) can be run in sandboxie
sanboxie does not require virtualization hardware and virtualization does not need to be enabled in the bios
windows sandbox and windows virtual machines require hyper-v and virtualization to be enabled in the bios
windows sandbox can be configured to share a folder with the operating system by creating a windows sandbox configuration xml file
running any office program in windows sandbox or windows virtual machine will require office to be installed and whereas with sandboxie office is installed and running on the host machine
