Warning system
Warnings help us enforce the forum rules fairly and consistently. This page explains how warning points work, what happens when they add up and how they expire.
How it works
Warnings add points
Most rule violations add 20 points. Minor issues add 10 points or come as a friendly notice with no points.
Points trigger restrictions
When your total reaches a threshold, your account is temporarily restricted.
Points expire
Most warnings expire after 6 months. Expired points no longer count toward your total.
Restriction levels

| 80 | Restricted for 30 days |
| 100 | Permanent ban |
While restricted, you can still read threads and your private conversations, but you cannot post, reply, react, start conversations or update your profile, signature or avatar. A notice at the top of every page shows when the restriction ends.

Why did I receive a warning?
You broke one of the forum rules. You also received a private message explaining which content was involved and why.
Where can I see my warnings?
Open your profile and select the Warnings tab. It lists each warning, its points and when it expires.
Can other members see my warnings?
No. Only you and the staff can see your warnings and warning points.
What should I do now?
Nothing special. Restrictions are lifted automatically when they expire. Review the rules so the same situation does not happen again.
Can warning points be removed?
Points expire automatically, in most cases after 6 months. If you believe a warning was given by mistake, contact us privately through the contact form and include a link to the content.
Can I discuss a warning in the forums?
No. Discussing moderation actions in public threads, profile posts or signatures is not allowed and may result in an additional warning. Please contact the staff privately instead.
