Smart Suggestor is a browser hijacker that will track your search queries, offering related keyword suggestions , and replacing the search results with sponsored links.
Smart Suggestor search
Smart Suggestor is an add-on for Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome that is typically added when you install other free programs. When you install these free programs, they will also install Smart Suggestor as well. Some of the programs that are known to bundle Smart Suggestor include 1ClickDownload, Yontoo and FBPhotoZoom.
Once installed, whenever you will try to use a search form on Ebay,Google,Facebook or any other websites, Smart Suggestor will show in the top bar related keyword suggestions, and display their own ads and sponsored links in your search page.
You should always pay attention when installing software because often, a software installer includes optional installs, such as this Smart Suggestor. Be very careful what you agree to install. Always opt for the custom installation and deselect anything that is not familiar, especially optional software that you never wanted to download and install in the first place. It goes without saying that you should not install software that you don’t trust.

Thanks for this Stelian! This has helped me remove that darn thing from my computer. I was suspecting something fishy since a few days, but this malware was more subtle than others I’ve encountered in the past!

I also like your little quote much, found it funny! A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing :) lol!

Don´t know where i got it from. Bad thing was it showed up nowhere. Not under IE Add-Ons or under Uninstall.

    Tried Spybot S&D – didn´t find anything.
Seems Ad Aware fixed it. At least i don´t see any SmartSuggestor links anymore and no links get redirected to commercials or banners change to different ones from SmartSuggestor.
Maybe the program was hidden as “MoveIt.exe” since this was the only file Ad Aware put into quarantain.
