I'm not an Avast! fanboy (anymore :p) so I will be honest:
  1. DeepScreen has improved but STILL needs to be better
  2. Signature wise they are not very good and miss well-known malicious files
  3. HIPS is useless
  4. Why does it cost so much?!
  5. Almost all members of their forums are fanboys
  6. Useless customer service asking you to restart etc...
  7. Over 1GB which is too much for an AV
I could go on...

I have used avast in the past before using avg so i can see they have improved but not so much with the ever-evolving malware families (unlike AVG, which is improving greatly).

I was using the free version, so i couldn't complain much, but i always found it to use too much memory that sometimes it made my windows crawl.

Still, with all this aside, good test, avast performance was between medium - medium high, which is good but not great.

Thanks for video.
