Advice Request Eset updated 4 hours ago?

Hello! I have recently installed Eset on one of my devices and I noticed that it has not been updated for 4 hours. Is this normal? I am sure this has not been the case for Eset for as far as I remember, it does update on hourly basis right?

It does update on hourly basis, it checks for updates every hour but new signature updates are usually not available every hour. So, you might see something like this often. But don't worry if you have Eset Live Grid enabled. Eset will still detect new threats that hasn't been added to signatures yet.

Signature are generally not updated often. AV now has tools to act faster and more efficiently via the cloud (KSN, Live Grid, File Insight...)
It's normal!
