Hello Saint TwinheadedEagle. Missed you for the last 24 hours. To give you an interim report : When doing some Google searching the only malware to pop in (by highlighting and colouring individual words) has been "AdChoices". I also note that in Google 'settings' - 'updates are disabled by the Administrator' keeps appearing, although I have done no such thing. The other problem that has not gone away is the fact that whenever I open a site in Google search, 3 other tabs open up too, which slows down everything and causes frequent 'Oooopses from a crashed Google'. Specifically this happens - I have created a quick link to MalwareTips on my desktop. When I hit this, tab-1 http://malwaretips.com/ opens and shows the moving circle that indicates loading. And the same loading is indicated with the following 3 tabs - Tab-2 shows http://--extensions-on-chrome-urls Tab-3 shows http://--test type/is not available Tab-4 shows http://--load extensions ...................../chrome/app-is-not-available As it is a condition of your support that we make no changes, I have done nothing about this - not that I know what would need to be done. Is this still part of Malware-hell? Anthony
