Brave Leo AI | Brave | What is Leo?

Brave Leo is an AI smart assistant that can summarise web pages, transcribe videos and answer questions. Brave Leo Premium uses advanced AI models for even more nuanced replies and gives early access to new features.

The accuracy of responses is not guaranteed and may include inaccurate, misleading or false information. Don't submit sensitive or private info, and use caution with any answers related to health, finance, personal safety or similar.

Leo does not collect identifiers such as your IP address that can be linked to you. No personal data is retained by the AI model or any 3rd-party model providers.
  • Leo Assistant is available in v1.60.x
  • Users must Opt-in before using Leo Assistant
  • Leo is a privacy-first AI assistant and does not collect PII
  • Leo is free to use, with premium plans for advanced features
  • Users can delete chat history and conversations with Leo Assistant at any time
  • Clearing Leo data will require users to opt-in should they wish to use Leo again

Delete your Leo AI Conversations and Chat History​

Go to brave://settings/leo-assistant
Click on 'Clear Leo data' and agree to the following prompt:

Clear Leo data warning:
Resetting the Leo assistant will require you to opt-in to use Brave Leo in the future and will also clear your chat history. Clearing your chat history will delete all your previous conversations with Brave Leo. This action cannot be undone.
