I have been using Opera Mobile 11 over the default browser on my SE Vivaz Pro (Symbian) and it does render quicker and generally more easy to browse the net. It has a speed dial (9) on the homepage which is nice. The GUI is well-designed, the only bother is I can't use my slide-out qwerty keyboard but it made up by the on-screen keyboard by Opera. When visiting MalwareTips on the device, it has word-wrap which fits all the text into the width of my Vivaz screen.

I would definitely recommend taking Opera Mobile 11 for a spin on your mobile device.

Many of ya know I love Opera (for desktop) and few may or may not know I like it for phone, but SkyFire still takes the prize for the phone for me at least for now...may be worth checking on Opera Mobile again, thanks for the heads up.

SkyFire doesn't seem to be available for Symbian devices.

Opera Mobile also supports Tablets.

With the major shift in the market towards Android based devices I suppose it is or has been their choice to focus on what is used most...still an awesome app but then so is Opera. :great:

Well I just decided to download Opera Mobile to have alternative browser over the default browser in Symbian. I liked also that opera mobile can access facebook (Zero website but no images ) which is supported only by a mobile carrier without balance charges for free :D
