He uses it in most of his videos that i have seen, it looks like a nifty lil tool.

The tool like shown on the video is definitely helpful on all possible scenarios where you need to decrypt the files immediately.

People are already have on their mindset to just reformat and accept the loss of data.

Kryptos decrypt the documents that where protected and backed-up before running the malware.
Extension .k2p isn't taken into account by the ransomware or the files are on read-only access

Yes....Most likely that the ransonware isn't recognizing the extension.

It's a good preemptive measure...for now.

If I'm right Kaspersky Total Security got also a File encryption. How it's working against Shark?
