Got infected using auto pilot settings provided by bitdefender (bd) total sec 2015 - so ran a full sys scan and results were that bd compiled no log and appeared to have not run any scan at all. bd failed to detect astro which wasnt surprising since infection got past bd in the first place prepared to contact bd support and was prompted to open bd's support tool (st). followed prompts in st and when prompted to initiate sys.log - st's progress bar froze and st indicated it was finished without having done anything. emailed bd support and told them I was infected with astro and they replied that I need to run the same bd tools that I already ran and that had failed and to send bd support the logs that their tools were blocked from creating in the first place I replied "thanks but no thanks" and so here i am i want to remove astro, bd and be advised of a security suite that will be best suited for my use I am a sole user at home i live in alone - no other users have a desktop, wireless router and laptop using TWcable isp thanks - Bill
