SunnyHaul: Scam or Legit? Inside the $29.99 VIP Club and Its Billing Terms

By Lapain Epuran9 min read

A $9.99 phone holder is an easy purchase to forget. An unfamiliar $29.99 charge several weeks later is much harder to ignore.

SunnyHaul sells the familiar promise of a small bargain. The important question is what travels with that bargain after the parcel leaves the warehouse.

Overview

The gadget is only one part of the transaction

SunnyHaul.com sells inexpensive household goods, car accessories, and beauty tools. The investigated rearview mirror phone holder is offered for $9.99 against a $49.95 comparison price.

Advertisements

Below its purchase button, the page says the order may include VIP Club enrollment. The displayed renewal is $29.99 every 28 days after an introductory period.

This is a membership charge, not a replacement phone holder automatically arriving each month. Receiving the physical item would not settle the separate billing issue.

The store’s pages disagree about the membership

The terms specify a 28-day billing cycle. The VIP information page describes the fee as monthly, which sounds similar but produces a different payment calendar.

Advertisements

Cancellation wording also conflicts. The terms promise immediate cancellation, while the membership page asks customers to cancel at least three business days before the next billing.

Those are material differences when you are trying to stop a charge. A low-priced accessory should not require reconciling competing subscription instructions.

The buying risk is larger than $9.99

  • Some purchases enroll customers in a paid VIP Club.
  • The published renewal amount is $29.99 on a 28-day cycle.
  • The terms allow a separate 9% handling charge where disclosed.
  • The refund policy restricts ordinary returns and prefers replacements for certain problems.
  • Customer reports describe unexpected membership charges and cancellation difficulties.

Do not buy through this offer for a one-off bargain. The recurring commitment and contradictory instructions make the apparent saving a poor trade.

The Membership Arithmetic the Sale Price Leaves Out

Twenty-eight days is exactly four weeks. It is not the same as a calendar month, so a renewal can move earlier through successive months.

At $29.99, thirteen renewal charges total $389.87. That is the scheduled cost of thirteen cycles, not a claim that every customer pays that amount.

Advertisements

A person who cancels before the first charge may pay none of those fees. Someone who misses the membership entirely can face repeated debits.

The discount would need to offset the membership’s own cost before creating any saving. A $29.99 fee is roughly three times the advertised $9.99 accessory price.

SunnyHaul’s terms describe possible benefits such as eligible-product discounts and future shipping offers. They also reserve the ability to change benefits and eligibility.

Advertisements

Consider the terms’ possible 25% discount as arithmetic, not a guaranteed benefit. Saving $29.99 at that rate would require $119.96 of eligible spending per billing cycle.

That assumes the discount applies in full, without exclusions or other costs. A customer buying one small accessory has not automatically gained that value.

The membership therefore creates an incentive to shop again to justify the fee. Buying more products to recover an unwanted subscription cost can increase the original loss.

Compare the real items you intended to buy, not a theoretical future basket. If you did not want an ongoing shopping service, the bargain already fails that test.

That makes the comparison different from buying a known product at a fixed price. You are considering ongoing access to a changing shopping program.

The membership page promises wholesale prices, but that wording does not establish the goods’ manufacturing cost or an independently verified wholesale-price advantage.

It also says the first new-member order does not include free shipping. Elsewhere, the homepage advertises free shipping for all orders.

The terms add another qualification: an order may carry a 9% handling fee. Free shipping therefore does not necessarily mean no additional order charge.

For a $9.99 item, 9% is about $0.90 before rounding rules and other applicable charges. That is an illustration of the published percentage, not a completed checkout.

How the SunnyHaul Sales Funnel Works

Step 1: A discount brings attention to the product price

The phone-holder listing emphasizes an 80% saving, a crossed-out comparison price, ratings, and an add-to-cart button. The recurring amount appears in smaller text beneath.

Someone shopping for a single car accessory can reasonably concentrate on fit, stability, and price. The page introduces another decision: whether to join a shopping club.

The discount does not demonstrate a previous selling history at $49.95. Treat the price you will actually pay as the starting point, not the percentage badge.

Step 2: The purchase can include VIP enrollment

The product notice uses conditional language. The terms likewise refer to certain purchases, so it would be inaccurate to say every possible SunnyHaul order automatically enrolls.

Advertisements

The membership information describes VIP and guest purchase routes. It says the guest option pays the full price, while the VIP route joins the program.

Advertisements

However, the inspected phone-holder page presents a prominent ordinary add-to-cart button. A shopper should not infer a one-time guest purchase from that label alone.

No order was submitted to test enrollment. The decisive evidence is the store’s published membership language and its placement alongside the discounted product.

Step 3: The trial clock begins with the enrolling order

Section 6 says the introductory period starts on the order date, not when the parcel arrives or when you first use the membership.

If you focus on delivery tracking, the billing deadline can advance in the background. A delayed parcel does not automatically pause that separate clock.

Advertisements

The same section assigns responsibility for monitoring renewal dates to the customer. Save the enrolling order date rather than relying on a possible reminder.

Step 4: Stopping future billing and recovering a charge become separate jobs

The terms say cancellation prevents future renewals but does not automatically refund fees already processed. A cancellation request and refund request are therefore different actions.

The membership page introduces a three-business-day notice requirement, while other terms say cancellation takes effect immediately. Do not wait for that disagreement to resolve itself.

Ask for cancellation promptly, retain a timestamped record, and verify the result. If a payment remains disputed, explain both issues separately to your card issuer.

The Cancellation Routes Do Not Tell One Consistent Story

The store links to cancel.sunnyhaul.com. The inspected portal displayed a login screen asking for the order email, rather than publicly confirming any account’s status.

Its separate Membership Cancellation page asks customers to write a cancellation request in a form’s message field. A team member is then supposed to process it.

That page is published under /pages/cancel-domain-shop, a generic-looking route name. The name alone proves no wrongdoing, but the human-handled request needs a confirmation.

SunnyHaul VIP page describing its $29.99 fee as monthly while the store terms specify every 28 days

Section 6 lists +1 859-445-0380. The footer and another cancellation section list +1 (951) 720-5846. Both appear in the site’s own instructions.

Published numbers are not the same as tested support. No call or cancellation message was sent for this investigation, and successful cancellation was not demonstrated.

The safest practical approach for an existing customer is a written request through a documented route, followed by an explicit confirmation and statement monitoring.

Do not post a complete card number in a contact form. An order number and the email used for the purchase should identify the transaction initially.

Seller Identity, Address, Images, and Product Returns

The named operator is Mac Ecomm LLC

The terms and footer identify Mac Ecomm LLC as the business operating SunnyHaul. This is a declared operator, not simply a product-brand label.

Compare that identity with your order receipt and card descriptor. If they differ, preserve both rather than assuming an unfamiliar descriptor is an unrelated transaction.

The page also identifies Shopify as its hosting platform. Shopify’s involvement does not authenticate a merchant’s discount, membership value, or customer-service performance.

The Wyoming address is not proof of a warehouse

The footer supplies 30 N Gould Street, Suite R, Sheridan, Wyoming. Registered Agents Inc. lists the same address on its own contact page.

Advertisements

That independent match identifies a company-services address. It does not show where this phone holder is manufactured, stored, dispatched, or accepted for return.

Nor does a shared registered-agent address establish common ownership with every other business using it. The billing concern here does not depend on that accusation.

Advertisements

The product graphics need the same scrutiny as the price

The gallery includes a promotional composite whose file name explicitly refers to a ChatGPT image. That is an AI-production clue in the seller’s own asset naming.

The inspected graphic shows the mirror-mounted phone holder and multiple positions. It is not an independent installation test, crash-safety assessment, or review of a delivered unit.

The listing also displays a large review count. A number in a seller-controlled widget does not establish those buyers’ experiences or explain the membership charge.

Advertisements

The refund policy narrows the way out

The policy treats ordinary sales as final and rejects change-of-mind refunds outside its stated exceptions. It does include a separate EU withdrawal clause.

For damaged or incorrect goods, it asks customers to contact support within 15 days and retain photos and packaging. Some resolutions are replacements or credit.

A problem with the goods is distinct from a disputed membership debit. Returning an accessory does not, by itself, prove the subscription has been canceled.

What Customers Report, and What the Reports Establish

Individual reports on ScamDoc describe a familiar sequence: a small product order followed by another charge. One buyer specifically reports a $29.99 membership-related debit.

Advertisements

Another account describes repeat withdrawals; a separate buyer reports non-delivery. These are consumer allegations, not audited bank records or a measurement of every customer’s outcome.

The most useful corroboration is that the store itself publishes the same $29.99 renewal amount. The billing mechanism is not inferred only from complaints.

For an existing buyer, the useful comparison is the debit itself: its amount, date, and merchant descriptor against the enrolling order and any cancellation confirmation.

Our earlier Blidz membership investigation covers a related low-price-plus-membership model. It does not establish shared ownership with SunnyHaul.

The lesson is practical: evaluate the membership separately from the object. A useful accessory can still be sold through a purchase arrangement you do not want.

What to Do If You Ordered From SunnyHaul

  1. Check the order and statement together. Locate the original order date, email receipt, selected purchase route, and any $29.99 entries.

Count forward 28 days from enrollment. Compare actual debit dates rather than assuming the charge will arrive on the same date each month.

  2. Request membership cancellation now. Use the documented portal or write to support@sunnyhaul.com. Identify the order and ask for written confirmation that future renewals are stopped.

Save the request and any confirmation. A submitted form proves you requested cancellation, not necessarily that the account has already been closed.

  3. Ask separately for a disputed fee to be refunded. State whether you dispute enrollment, disclosure, a post-cancellation charge, or another specific issue.

Keep the product-page notice and the competing monthly/28-day descriptions. Do not describe an authorized product payment as unauthorized merely because you dislike the item.

  4. Speak to your card issuer if billing remains unwanted. Explain the recurring arrangement and provide your cancellation timeline. Ask about disputes and stopping further merchant-initiated payments.

Do not assume replacing the physical card alone will terminate an agreement. The terms expressly discuss card-network account updater services.

  5. Document a separate product problem promptly. Photograph the packaging, shipping label, damage, or incorrect item, and contact support within the policy’s stated reporting window.

Keep the parcel until the complaint is documented. Do not mail it to the Wyoming company address without written return instructions.

  6. Escalate misleading enrollment with evidence. Report the advertisement and transaction to the relevant consumer authority. Include dates, amounts, and the terms shown when you purchased.

Avoid anyone demanding an upfront recovery fee. You can approach your payment provider directly without hiring a stranger to cancel a shopping membership.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did SunnyHaul charge me $29.99?

The store describes that amount as a VIP Club renewal fee. Check whether your order included membership and whether the debit matches the published 28-day schedule.

Does every SunnyHaul purchase include the VIP Club?

The published wording refers to certain purchases, while its membership page describes a guest route. Do not assume the discounted route is a one-time guest order.

Is every 28 days the same as monthly?

No. Four-week billing creates thirteen cycles in 364 days. At $29.99, thirteen fees total $389.87, excluding the original purchase and any separate charges.

Advertisements

Does canceling the membership refund the previous fee?

Not automatically under the published terms. Request both cancellation and any refund you believe is due, explaining the particular disclosure or transaction problem.

Advertisements

Can I return an unwanted phone holder?

The policy generally excludes preference returns, subject to applicable rights and stated exceptions. Defective or incorrect goods have a separate reporting process.

Is SunnyHaul a confirmed fake-product scam?

The documented concern is the membership sales arrangement, conflicting terms, and restrictive remedies. The evidence does not establish that every product is nonexistent or every customer loses money.

The Bottom Line

Do not use SunnyHaul’s discounted offer for a simple one-time accessory purchase. The $29.99 renewals can outweigh the bargain, and the cancellation instructions disagree.

If you already ordered, check enrollment immediately. Cancel unwanted membership in writing, request any appropriate refund separately, and involve your card issuer if charges remain unresolved.
