WD is not perfect - it's a fact - but I can say the same about any other piece of software.
I have tried almost every AV / IS / anti-exe / HIPS / sandbox etc. available and I see no added value in running them on my system as I know exactly what I am doing.
Funny fact - on my wife's laptop with W7 only MSE is running and I scan her system with multiple scanners once a year only to find some cookies so if you ask me I'll say that any 3rd party is obsolete if you have a minimum common sense.
And if you're happy clicker, then there is no suite which can protect you.
Peace brothers!
Exact, most of the regular members here shouldn't even need any security apps; by now they should have enough knowledge to avoid any classic infections.
Now, having fun with security apps is another story
@pablozi Nice addition to your security with Norton Security Premium! I have been rolling with this software for a long time.
As a side note you can sometimes get Norton Security Premium between $27.99-$29.99 on sale between Amazon or Frys.com. This saves from having to pay $90.00 a year. Plus the licenses are good for upcoming years. When it goes on sale I usually buy a few "years" worth. For the pricing it is like a steal! ~$3.00 a license!
EDIT: Don't forget to use Norton Power Eraser that is included inside Norton. I'd also recommend adding ZAM to your security setup as it has a small MB footprint on the given computer.
