Comodo isn't exactly a Paid AV, and it's not regarded as a Top AV including the wider audience.

If I were to buy a suite it would be between Eset and Vipre personally, but CIS is the best free solution period :)

Kaspersky, hands down.
second option, go with bullguard.
those 2 have IS versions as well(firewall) but if wanted a simple yet powerful AV, go with emsisoft. their version 7 is coming out soon which uses bitdefender and their own engine. gonna be super!

For me :

after plenty of tests i will be willing to pay for ESET and EAM (oh it is what i am using right now :D ), remember that i am a guy that don't like to pay for a security product.

i have to mention, that NIS and Gdata among the good ones i tried.

In your opinion, yes. I've not seen Avast Pro as a choice for a Top AV.

Remember it's regarding the "Best Antivirus (Paid)" - Even if there is no best, Comodo shouldn't even be considered as a Paid AV. It belongs in the Free Internet Suites category. ;)

P

Plexx

Out of curiosity where would FortiClient Premium fall? On my Lite tests it did ok. Might take it for a test run once everything is backup.

i think there is a paid version which isn't worth it lol, avast IS is simple but yet very userfriendly, avg is good too i tried the 2013 version with metro ui,they made great improvement! as i say there are many options as for me i will always take in consideration if the security suite slow down your system like bit defender even on quad core its delays your boot up speed, after logging in its ok but i tend not to compromise my speed with resource hungry av but thats just me,i guess different people will have different opinions...

Do none of you use real-time Dr. WebCureit???

Maybe there is no choice. I see a "Dr. Web Lite" for MACS........

Dr.WebCurit is a downloadable on demand scanner which is a free solution like Kaspersky's Virus Removal Tool. Its downloadable on a daily basis prepacked with an up to date data base. However Dr.Web is a paid antivirus solution.
