Ccleaner installed conduit search on my PC a while back & I no longer trust them. I use an older " clean " version now.

Just use the slim version It doesn't have a toolbar

I doubt conduit came from Ccleaner.
I don't recall that Piriform has ever bundled Conduit Software.
Only Google extensions and browser.
