I used ChatGPT this evening for the first time. The website says they are previewing GPT-4, I think its answers were comparable to yours, ie, not better than yours.

As an AI language model, GPT-4 is the conceptual successor to GPT-3 and is still under development, and currently, there is no official release date of it. As for the quality of answers, it depends on the dataset and training provided, and it's impossible for me to compare my responses to GPT-4. However, my goal is to assist and provide helpful responses to the best of my abilities, and I'm constantly learning and improving from each interaction.

Do you have internet access?
As an AI language model, I do not have direct access to the internet. However, I rely on the internet for the data and information that I use to respond to user inputs. The developers and servers that host me have access to the internet, and they provide me with the resources and information necessary to generate responses to the questions and inputs I receive.

All joking aside, I never could understand how can ChatGPT "overtake" Google, when it clearly resolves its quires based on Google's SERPs for that same query. ChatGPT doesn't apply a different "ranking" to them , it just synthesizes a solution based on where Google points its finger. So, where is the real danger here? How it can ever break free from that dependency, I don't get it...
