App Review Dr Web Security Space Boot Time Protection

It is advised to take all reviews with a grain of salt. In extreme cases some reviews use dramatization for entertainment purposes.

Winner's of the Boot Time Protection so far are as follow:

> AVG
> BitDefender Free Edition

Salutations/Greetings!:)

Does any know if any of the Paid Bitdefender Security Software work with Sandboxie 100%?
Or what about ESET 100%? The above same question? Or any of the above
Anti-viruses in post #4?

Also, which one has the best Boot Time Protection in her video?;)
Was it ESET and/or Bitdefender Free Edition? Or AVG?

Kind regards,

Kind regards,

This an off topic post. I'm sure ESET has no issue with Sandboxie. Not sure about Bitdefender never like it but the UI is pretty to my eyes.
You ought to know 1 failed test doesn't make a good product bad overnight.

@bitbizket,

Post # 6. How true, but with layering of security software is a step in the right direction.
Where all the other anti-viruses fail completely!!! Again, there is no perfect security software that
why, question everything. And ask question after questions to make sure that I did not miss something!

Old Nod32 seem to be making a come back!!!

Anybody

I have not used Bitdefender in quite a while!
However I believe there may be some issues:

Sandboxie - Known Conflicts

BitDefender Total Security&Antivirus 2015/16
Home Page: http://www.bitdefender.com

Problem: Sandboxie version 4+ and version 5+ is incompatible with BitDefender Antivirus to some small extent.

Solution: Adjust shield settings in BitDefender. Modules > Antivirus > click on the gear "icon" >GO to Active Threat Control > and move the slider to "Off" - Delete SBIE Sandbox Contents & relaunch the browser.

@Moose
I had Bitdefender 2016 for a short while some time ago. I couldn't launch any browser with Sandboxie, so they weren't compatible. No idea about right now though.

Likely Dr.Web and few others may focus on some sophisticated threats but not the way of how prevention should occur especially in boot time protection.

It maybe a big disadvantage for that, still better steer way on a situation where threats will emerge upon you reboot. (As you executed it)
