Hello,
So, about 1 or 2 months ago i started noticing a problem with my browser (firefox). I couldnt access the battle.net page no matter what i tried....After a quick web search i found that it's due to a proxy issue and the best solution would be to disable proxy. and so i did...i ran inetcpl.cpl and configured to not use proxy. the problem went away...until the next day when it happened again. running inetcpl.cpl again i noticed that the use proxy was checked again so i unchecked...this kept happening at random times and then somehow stoped... I also noticed a name appearing...majuwe.com. Now i have noticed highlighted words with ads in sights i considered safe and i also noticed some programs that i don't remember installing that i cant remove something called jelbrus security and it's subprogram privoxy

in the meantime i reset my router and then restored its connection settings from a config bin (i also forgot to mention that the problems started appearing relatively soon after i strengthened my wireless security due to the suspicion that someone else was using my wifi)

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.

Well...it logged me out of everything in firefox so i had to log back in... firefox seems to run a little slower for the now, will have to check on the long run. Firefox history as much as i can tell has been deleted. So far i haven't seen any weird ads or "waiting for majuwe..." popping up. Yet i still have no clue what was my problem...Could it have been a router infection?

Was just about to ask if we can keep this open in case anything else appears. Thank you very much for your help!
