It is advised to take all reviews with a grain of salt. In extreme cases some reviews use dramatization for entertainment purposes.
In my experience, rescue disks will let you down when you need them most...

Kaspersky Rescue Disk is one of the tools you can expect to remove some sophisticated threats in order to access the system flawlessly. (Followed by Dr.Web CureIT.) Of course you will use other tools to clean some leftover.
