Attached is the Zoek report. I wanted to thank you for all of your help with this situation... It is almost 0100 EDT, so I will be heading to bed soon; however, please advise of any further needs.
Thank you,
Rebecca

Sir,
I am still being redirected when I try to visit some sites. For instance, http://www.youtube.om/watch?v=xrHgOoNBiWk is a link provided my one of my professors. When I paste that link, I am redirected to one of the sites listed below. Any further suggestions would be appreciated...

Yes, sir. It appears to be affecting both Mozilla and Internet Explorer. I apologize for being such a tough case, but I appreciate your help.

Sir,
I know this maso, but I submit a great deal of my work to professors online (Blackboard and email). Can I transmit my problem to others? Succinctly, is my PC contagious? I would hate to infect my professor's computer too. I have run Farber and have attached both logs below.

No, you cannot infect others.

Let's perform one more fix:

FRST.gif
Fix with Farbar Recovery Scan Tool

icon_exclaim.gif
This fix was created for this user for use on that particular machine.

icon_exclaim.gif
Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.
icon_exclaim.gif

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.

In addition to the redirection, I am hearing ads in the background of webpages that do not fit the content. Blackboard (for my college) should not have advertisements playing in the background. I wanted to let you know this is happening too.
