Solved Malware Snap.do/Ltp systemupdater

Full scan with Microsoft essentials/spybot/malware bytes (all outdated bc of the internet not allowing them to update) found tons of files but removed them (cannot find log for malwarebytes but it included tons of pup/lpt system updater/snap.do) computer seems fine now but I cannot update anything like antivirus/windows updates etc...says no internet connection but i can get on internet and download just not through programs

I just re-read the guide to post here it dosent like I left anything out. If I did please let me know so I can get you the correct information to get this sorted out. Thanks guys!

Hello,


Please download Zemana AntiMalware and save it to your Desktop.
  • Install the program and once the installation is complete it will start automatically.
  • Without changing any options, press Scan to begin.
  • After the short scan is finished, if threats are detected press Next to remove them.
Note: If restart is required to finish the cleaning process, you should click Reboot. If reboot isn't required, please restart your computer manually.
  • Open Zemana AntiMalware again.
  • Click on
    4zu6vb.jpg
    icon and double click the latest report.
  • Now click File > Save As and choose your Desktop before pressing Save.
  • The only left thing is to attach saved report in your next message.

System scan came up clean...I guess malwarebytes got it all?
Tried to download updates again on microsoft windows update and windows security essentials says the same thing internet connectivity issues...

I scanned through the frst.log and there are several files in there that are/have been removed years ago like Verizon vzaccess/punk buster (old battlefield bad company requirement) and several others. at this point would it be easier to just format and reinstall vista? but since I installed vista with a xp upgrade cd it takes an extra step
