(mobile modem D-Link DWR-932, Win10, Firefox)

Hi everyone

I'd need some advice, please

Whenever one of my computers' mobile modem connects to the internet, that computer's screen blacks out, for one second.

Only one second.

Everything keeps on working perfectly.

The only strange thing is this weird one-second blackout.

I suspected some sort of screenshot, but (as far as I can see) nothing interesting is on the screen, when that happens.

I've scanned that computer, repeatedly, with all sorts of apps, everything is clean.

Any idea??

In advance, thank you very much for your advice

It could be anything from a short because of the mobile modem to a malfunctioning USB port to a screen issue or something else innocuous.

Ahhh OK now I see you use a D-link modem. There is your issue.

I would try and replace the modem with one with less brand security issues and one which has regular firmware updates

or it may be some incompatibility with your graphics driver.
This is something also to consider. The modem is USB or ethernet or WiFi? It's probably a short or some bug is my guess.

If you were being attacked by someone no matter how advanced, I would imagine they wouldn't insert such a bug to raise your suspicions.

Seems to be a regular 4G router and devices will be connected over wi-fi.

I think you might be right, GPU issue then or some sort of quirky bug..
