Hey, i am sure their is a post on the forum somewhere but i am new to the site so go easy on me. so allow me to address my issue.

VAFPLAYER: i have trawled threw the mine field known as the internet but i am struggling to actually find a way to uninstall the program. i have removed the reg file but like any "good" program it still sits on my desktop and mocks me every time i boot it up so if anyone could give me a helping hand that would be grand.

so floors yours you beautiful people help me out.

also totally off topic would this effect my system, in a way of screen crashing and thing to that effect or have i opened a whole new kettle of fish?

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatibale with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them.
Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.


  • Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press Scan button.
  • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please attach it to your reply.
  • The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.
