The video software that I use is Camtasia which you have to pay for and the free one that I used to use is Camstudio.

Hoped that helped :)

I'm using Camtasia 7.1 (paid version)

if you want FREE version, CamStudio is good too.
Different is CamStudio does not have editing options, such as Camtasia.

A different offer, comes with a Free version and a Pro version. I recommend looking at the features to both.

Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 (Free Download)

I, myself use the Free version. Even with the 10 minute cap, it's got excellent quality.

Plus I don't have £250 to spend on Camtasia Studio software, or £140 (Academic Pricing):

Camtasia is too expensive in my opinion so I used to use CamStudio, It's free and offers good quality videos!
