When I saw the temperature of other countries, it seemed that Japan was warm. Negative temperature will make my nose hurt during breathing.
Today it was better at 25 deg F/-4 deg C. Yesterday, it was 16 deg F /-9 deg C with winds at 40 km/hr. Here in New York City, the freezing cold drives the homeless more into the subways and sometimes you see makeshift tents and mini shelters inside the cars. I've had to run out of the car due to the terrible, terrible smell at times. Here are two images I've pulled off the 'net; I don't take any photos myself, it disturbs me. Look closely under the seat in the first image. This has been my observation also at times.

Well here in the southeast of the Mediterranean coast, it's not cold weather although we're in the middle of winter.
