Norton acquires avira, avast and bullguard software .But still using broadcom signatures. why does norton still use broadcom signatures?
Does Norton not trust the virus signatures of the software it buys? Does it pay for Broadcom?

Maybe we will see Norton add some features from Avast and avg it does take awhile to implement new features. Maybe we will see something similar to what they did with Avast to get avg's behavior blocker.

Norton probably uses Broadcom signatures because they are better. I don't know honestly, ask them? I don't think they will mess with Avast. It's a popular program on its own. Whether Avira and AVG survive in one form, or another is another matter.
