I used to use Threatfire in the past, it wasn't a bad program back then. I only stopped using it because of the lack of version updates that it was getting.
I believe that when Symantec acquired Pc Tools, the devs that were working on Threatfire were recruited to work for Norton , so Threatfire did not receive any attention for quite a while.

Symantec wanted to incorporate the Spyware Doctor component into their own products.

For Threatfire its really need more improvements on how it detect for suspicioous behavior since the effectiveness until now isn't better.

Threatfire for the moment is way behind unlike for Mamutu.
