  • You can now sign in to 1Password securely by using a QR code. This simplifiees the process of setting up new devices without needing to manually enter your account password or Secret Key.
  • Guided Setup is now available for Individual and Family accounts. You’ll be able to use the step-by-step guide to help you set up autofill, practice the basics, import your passwords, and access your passwords everywhere.
  • You can now view item history and restore previous versions of items in the desktop apps.
  • When confirming your recovery code, you can now select and drag text into the “Enter your recovery code” field.
  • We’ve added arrow symbols next to accounts on the Manage Accounts screen to indicate they can be clicked.
  • We’ve made improvements to the sidebar so screen readers can announce the current selection.
  • The “Your Details” heading now wraps words that are too long.
  • Localization has been improved for a number of our supported languages using new translations from Crowdin.
  • We’ve removed the import and extension pages from the essential setup flow.
  • When installing the app, the MSI now removes previous user installs to prevent potential disruptions in functionality.
  • We’ve added localization support for the memorable password generator.

  • We’ve fixed an issue where the “Set Up Another Device” screen didn’t show your selected account in the account dropdown.
  • We’ve fixed an issue where search filters wouldn’t work for categories or tags that contained spaces (for example, secure notes).

  • We’ve fixed an issue where you couldn’t see the password history for some item types.
  • We’ve fixed a visual issue where the Wi-Fi QR code didn’t fill the window when you selected “Open in new window”.
