I noticed that the new Macrium X, is having troubles. So I looked at Hasleo. The first system backup is EZ. But how do you perform an incremental backup to the first image you made?

Also O&O defrag, I like the software, but the icon won't show up in the taskbar.

I have an admin account witch I don't use unless I have to.

I install everything on my local user account. Which is what I did with Defrag 29

I can't get the icon to show in the taskbar. I have given permissions, moved shortcut to the startup folder ETC.

Also the modern view has an automatic defrag slider on the left bottom side of the screen it keeps moving back to the off (left) position.

I have tried giving admin rights to every account for each O&O defrag 29 exe, still can't get the icon to show up.

O&O Defrag is running in "Services". Just no taskbar icon, and in taskbar settings I have checked "Show all icons, never hide".

Any idea on these 2 questions... Thank You

1. For Hasleo, after the first full backup, you can perform an incremental backup by selecting the "Incremental Backup" option in the "Backup" tab. Choose the image file you want to add the incremental backup to and proceed.

2. Regarding O&O Defrag, it seems like you've tried most solutions. However, you can try reinstalling the software or contacting their support for a more specific solution. As for the automatic defrag slider, ensure you're saving the settings after changing them. If it's still not working, it might be a software bug and you should report it to O&O support.

#1... Uhh Bot are you sure? I never saw that option, that would be a very nice tab/option to be able to choose, but I didn't see it. I included a screenshot

#2... trying to avoid those, as they will be the last recourse.

1. Apologies for the confusion. If Hasleo doesn't have an explicit "Incremental Backup" option, you may need to create a new backup which will only include changes since the last backup. This effectively acts as an incremental backup.

2. For O&O Defrag, if you've tried most solutions and the icon still doesn't show, it might be due to a bug or compatibility issue. If reinstalling doesn't work, reaching out to their support would be the best option. For the automatic defrag slider issue, it could also be a bug, so reporting it to O&O support would be helpful.

Regarding HBS, you have that option in the Action tab for the executed backup. You can also chose the default behaviour for the backup button: Backup Options - Advanced backup settings of Hasleo Backup Suite

For icon, go to Settings > Personalization, there you see options for icons.

I think Hasleo has some sort of bug: when you try to create a backup schedule, the OK button's greyed out unless you select backup only once. Do that to save the schedule, then edit the schedule to make it want you want. The OK button will no longer be greyed out.
