yeah I read that too, but is deleting / removing required. I understand 23&me had a data leak a few years ago, they claim they fixed that, etc. They claim your data is "protected" by federal and state laws, and the chapter 11 was filed to facilitate the sale of the company to optimal buyer, who would be required to follow the same laws to protect your data. Sure you can delete your data, but is it really unnecessary to delete your data??
