360 Security is certified by TRUSTe, the leader in data privacy management, demonstrating 360 Security Group's commitment to its users' privacy
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- 360 Security Group, a global leader in mobile Internet, software, services, and security, today announced that its Android optimization and security app 360 Security has been certified for the TRUSTe Privacy Certification, the industry standard for safeguarding mobile users' privacy.

TRUSTe, the leading data privacy management company and industry authority on online privacy, rigorously audits a company's user privacy standards and regulations before it can qualify for TRUSTe's Privacy Certification. All assessed and certified apps must comply with TRUSTe's Privacy Program Requirements, which are based on national regulatory policies including the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), the California Attorney General's Privacy on the Go, and privacy protection frameworks established by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.

Passing TRUSTe's inspection and being granted its prestigious certificate certifies 360 Security's data collection and management practices as meeting TRUSTe's rigorous mobile user privacy compliance criteria.

"360 Security Group's primary concern is the safeguarding of privacy of the very users that entrust their mobile lifestyles with 360 Security," said Ren Huang, Chief Architect of 360 Security Group. "TRUSTe is the world's most trusted and recognizable privacy seal by internet users. The award of this certificate underscores 360 Security Group's vehement commitment to ensure the protection of our users' privacy and mobile safety."

To be fully compliant with TRUSTe's privacy program requirements, 360 Security's privacy policy is fully transparent in outlining how its users' information may be collected and used. 360 Security also submits to on-going monitoring, and participates in TRUSTe's consumer privacy dispute resolution program.

"By displaying the TRUSTe privacy seal, 360 Security gives its users a clear message that it is trustworthy and respects the privacy of the people who use the app to safeguard their mobile lifestyles," said Chris Babel, CEO of TRUSTe. "360 Security joins many other leading mobile brands that are committed to building consumer trust online through participation in the TRUSTe Privacy Certification Program."
