It still has ads, but you can now buy an ad free subscription service, just like with their Windows software. No only does it has ads, but it also has targeted advertising. The first time you launch it, you have the option to opt out of targeted ads.
Ah misleading changelogs, unfortunately I didn't go that far to installing the spyware. :)

Jokes aside, I'm sure the products are great (for some), but upper management can deploy shady tactics to boost product ratings.
