Thought you'd like to read this story about how ING Romania has a 10h outage because of a test gone wrong in their data center.

I'm a client of the bank myself, but I'm not sharing the story just to point fingers. In the 8 years of using their services and products, I've never had a single issue.

The reason I wanted to pass on the story is to help people become aware that these things can happen, and that financial services can experience long failures, even if they're not caused by cyber attacks.

The point is to learn from these mishaps and know what to do in such a situation. Also, I'm sure that cyber criminals will try to take advantage of the situation, even if it's solved. Not all ING clients are tech savvy, and even those who are could fall of a well engineered phishing scheme.
