A Turkish journalist presented on the screen what she described as evidence of the encoded communication between coup leaders who were preparing their coup. The document showed indeed that of GTA IV codes.

As a journalist, it is quite easy to criticize a colleague who forgot to simply do his job, that is to say, check your sources and make a minimum of research on a topic. As readers, it's even easier to remember that it does not happen to others. Is.

The fact remains that this Turkish journalist has become since yesterday the subject of some ridicule which unfortunately seem justified. By presenting simple GTA IV cheats as irrefutable evidence of the betrayal of a part of the army, it is wrong, but mostly mistaken the Turkish viewers.

On the small notebook she has, it says "GTA IV, cheating, health and weapons, health and armor," with codes which are those used to cheat on these values (we checked). From there to imagine that this "document" was provided to him by supporters of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan who wanted to use television to convince public opinion, there is only one step.

Those Journalists that live by the motto "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story" deserve ridicule & scorn IMO..
It is astonishing how many people will utter the phrase "You cannot believe everything that you read in the Newspaper"..
..whilst simultaneously believing everything that they read in the newspaper..
Incompetent or Immoral Journalists give Journalism as a whole a bad name, which is a shame.
On the other hand,...
If sensationalism is the favourite food of the masses then there is no benefit in serving them realism as a side-dish ;)

The television apologized after that new. It is sad. Because many journalist here think "they know everything(!)" yes.
They are behaving like experts in every respects. Military, economy, strategy, magazine, ...
Anyway it was funny while I am watching this :D
