It's most probably it's a Phishing or Spoofed email. Did you receive this email in your Spam folder, and did it include a Subject Line or was it left blank?

Identify "phishing" and "spoofing" emails - https://support.google.com/wallet/answer/105822?hl=en
Find the real sender of an email in Gmail
  1. Click the drop-down next to the "Reply" button and click Show original.
  2. Make sure the "From" address and the "Reply-to" address match.
  3. Check that the address on the "Message-id" also matches the "From" address domain.
If you don't use Gmail, ask your email host for details on how to verify a sender.

You can report any suspicious emails that claim to be Google here, https://support.google.com/mail/contact/abuse

Hey Huracan. Similar to MalwareFire, I received a suspicious email in my Outlook.com's Junk folder claiming to be from accounts-prober@google.com. The message had neither a subject nor a body, and the "To" (recipient) line was also blank in the UI. Here is the message source as reported by Outlook.com:

As a precaution, I reported the incident to Google. If anything they can confirm whether the email is legitimate.

I received this too. 27 Oct 2014 2:57pm exactly the same, no subject no message. I also received a message two days later which I think may be in relation, a simple scam email just like stating someone died and I inherited a ridiculous amount of money, I feel the two are related. Should I just delete them? This is wigging me out a bit
