Advice Request Adding custom lists into Adguard Extension

Perhaps someone will be able to help.

Im looking into adding the list available at NoCoin/blacklist.txt at master · keraf/NoCoin · GitHub into my Adguard extension.

considering how the blacklist file is, does anyone know what modifications need to be made to import such list?

some modifications are required:
- you have to remove *:// and the * at the end of the addresses
- this is a bit annoying I think

I suggest you to import these 2 lists instead, no need any modification and they are more extensive compared to the list above. There are some duplicated entries

There's already a rule in AdGuard's English filter which will prompt the user when CoinHive is detected (which you can allow it or prevent it from running). I believe this rule also works in the AdGuard browser extensions.

unfortunately, adguard extension will never be the same as ublock because adguard has their own syntax. When we import filters into AG, it will show syntax errors, a lot. They can make AG ineffective at some rules which are supposed to be blocked by all other adblockers
that's why AG's devs had to make adguard rules for ublock because ublock can't read all AG's rules
