I'm not sure if uninstalling realtek ethernet driver would be a good idea for everyone. I use the last version available on my motherboard' vendor's website. As AdGuard documentation states, in default mode "the system will consider AdGuard to be the sole application that connects to the Internet (other applications are routed through it)." So, if you use a third-party AV with network filtering capabilities with AdGuard then both products have to utilize the same network driver (netio.sys), both will try to filter your internet traffic and that's where the main issue occurs it seems (almost like running two Antiviruses in a PC). I also had a BSOD once when I tried it with ESET even after excluding each other in their settings. With Microsoft Defender, I only had it under one specific scenario involving Firefox in AdGuard's exclusion but even that was very rare. The latest update apparently fixed things for some users while so far one user reported to still have the issue. An alternative is to use the TDI driver which has stability advantage but some other downsides too.
